Chongqing Huafon Spandex co. Chongqing Huafon Chemical Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary invested by Huafon Group in Chongqing Baitao Chemical Park in 2010 according to Group's "12th Five-year" Industrial Development Plan. With registered capital of 750 million Yuan, the Company owns more than 1,000 employees and covers an area of 1800 acres. It is planned to invest over 12 billion Yuan to build Huafon Industrial Park in two stages. After completion, Huafon Industrial Park can produce 640,000 tons of adipic acid annually. Currently, first-stage project with annual output of 160,000 tons of adipic acid was successfully tested for production in June 2012. Second-stage expansion project with annual output of 480,000 tons of adipic acid started construction on December 18, 2012. Meanwhile, 100,000 tons of PU resin project, 60,000 tons of differentiated spandex project were settled in Huafon Industrial Park in June 2013 and will be completed for production in October 2014. It is estimated output value of Huafon Industrial Park will exceed 10 billion Yuan, and absorb more than 3,000 working population by the end of 2015.
